1. Journal Mission
IJMORA is an international multidisciplinary open research journal created to support responsible, accessible, and professionally managed scholarly publishing. The journal aims to provide a structured platform for researchers, authors, reviewers, editors, and readers while maintaining transparency, editorial independence, research integrity, and long-term article accessibility.
The purpose of this publication policy is to explain how accepted scholarly work is processed, reviewed, licensed, published, corrected, preserved, and made available to the academic community. Authors should read this policy before submission and again before approving article proofs.
2. Scope of Publication
IJMORA considers scholarly work from multidisciplinary fields, including original research articles, review articles, short communications, case-based studies, technical notes, conference-linked papers, special issue articles, and other academic contributions approved by the editorial office. Submission does not guarantee acceptance. Each manuscript must pass technical screening, editorial assessment, and peer review where applicable.
IJMORA may decline manuscripts that fall outside the journal scope, lack academic quality, contain ethical problems, duplicate previously published work, misuse artificial intelligence tools, or fail to satisfy basic publication standards.
3. Editorial Process
Manuscripts are first checked for completeness, formatting, authorship information, declarations, ethical statements, file quality, plagiarism risk, and technical suitability. After technical screening, suitable manuscripts may be assigned to an editor for academic evaluation. The editor may reject unsuitable submissions, request revision, invite reviewers, or recommend acceptance depending on the manuscript quality and reviewer feedback.
Editorial decisions are made according to academic merit, relevance, originality, methodological quality, clarity, ethical compliance, and contribution to the field. Editorial decisions are not influenced by nationality, gender, religion, political opinion, institutional affiliation, or personal relationships.
4. Peer Review Policy
IJMORA applies peer review to manuscripts that require expert evaluation. Reviewers are selected based on expertise, availability, independence, and absence of obvious conflicts of interest. Reviewers are expected to provide fair, constructive, confidential, and evidence-based evaluations.
The editor considers reviewer comments, manuscript quality, author responses, and journal standards before making a decision. Reviewer recommendations are advisory; the final decision belongs to the responsible editor or editorial authority.
5. Publication Ethics and Research Integrity
Authors must submit original work that has not been published elsewhere and is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal. Plagiarism, data fabrication, image manipulation, duplicate publication, false authorship, undisclosed conflicts of interest, citation manipulation, fake peer review, and unethical research practices are not acceptable.
Where required, authors must obtain ethical approval, informed consent, patient consent, animal research approval, clinical trial registration, institutional permission, and third-party copyright permission before submission. IJMORA may request evidence at any stage.
If serious concerns arise before or after publication, IJMORA may investigate, request explanations, contact institutions, issue corrections, publish expressions of concern, retract articles, or remove content where legally or ethically necessary.
7. Copyright and Open Access License
IJMORA follows an author-retained copyright model. Authors keep copyright in their work. Instead of transferring copyright, authors grant IJMORA the right to publish, archive, index, preserve, distribute, display, and make the article permanently available online.
Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), unless otherwise stated. This license allows readers and users to copy, share, redistribute, adapt, text and data mine, and reuse the work, including commercially, provided proper attribution is given to the authors, article title, journal, DOI or PID where available, and license.
8. Proof Review and Final Publication
After acceptance, articles may enter production for formatting, metadata preparation, proof creation, PDF generation, HTML preparation, and final publication checks. Proofs are shared with the corresponding author for review. Authors must check names, affiliations, title, abstract, figures, tables, references, funding information, conflict statements, data statements, and final article layout carefully.
Proof correction is intended for production errors and minor corrections, not major rewriting or new scientific changes. Substantial changes after acceptance may require editorial approval.
9. Corrections, Retractions, Withdrawal, and Editorial Notices
IJMORA may publish corrections when errors are discovered after publication. If serious reliability, ethics, authorship, plagiarism, legal, or data integrity concerns arise, IJMORA may publish an expression of concern, retract the article, withdraw the article, or remove content where necessary.
Retraction does not erase the scholarly record. When possible, retracted articles remain identifiable with clear retraction notices to preserve transparency and protect readers.
10. Complaints and Appeals
Authors may appeal editorial decisions if they believe there was a clear procedural error or misunderstanding. Appeals must provide specific reasons and evidence. Complaints about publication ethics, peer review, editorial handling, authorship, copyright, or published content may be submitted to IJMORA through the official contact process.
IJMORA reviews complaints according to available records, editorial policy, ethical standards, and legal requirements. Abusive, repetitive, unsupported, or bad-faith complaints may be closed without further action.
11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Responsibility
Authors are responsible for the accuracy, originality, legality, ethical compliance, permissions, authorship, data, figures, tables, supplementary files, and declarations in their submissions. Publication in IJMORA does not guarantee indexing, citation impact, database acceptance, institutional recognition, funding recognition, ranking, or career benefit.
IJMORA, its publisher, editors, reviewers, staff, and technical platform are not responsible for author-supplied errors, undisclosed conflicts, missing permissions, false authorship claims, copyright infringement, data fabrication, plagiarism, or unlawful material submitted by authors. IJMORA may update this policy when needed.
